March 23, 2005 Levity
Today is my Friday! I have five days off in a row! Yay! Tomorrow is my birthday. Today is my last day of being 20-something. Weird. I was thinking of cutting my hair, too. Something a bit different than what I have now, which is all-one-length to the collarbone with blunt bangs. The trick is, it still has to be very low maintenance, because I do not style hair. Even when I get a haircut that requires styling, the motivation to style lasts only a few days, and then my hair looks like crap. I do not blow-dry. I do not mousse. I rarely even condition (but then when you don't blow-dry that's less of an issue). Keeping in mind the recent experiences of Hello, Josephine (yikes!) I am a bit nervous. I am between regular hairdressers. I do not want to be butchered. Yet I want a slightly more exciting haircut. But not exciting in the "oh my god I need to shave my head!" kind of way. Also, I want to colour it. It is currently supposed to be a darkish reddish brown. Something called "intense red brown"; I'd link to it but I can't. Anyway. I'd like to go a little bit lighter and less red, just because I get bored with my haircolour very easily, but I don't know how. Sil'y/Kim, if you're reading this, do you know how to colour over red hair? I know you like to change your colour a lot. If anyone I know would know, it's you. So I am caught in hair indecision. And if that's not levity, I don't know what is! Posted by Andrea at March 23, 2005 8:44 AM under Me EMAIL this entry (comments fields are below this section) Comments Go Berserk |
