August 19, 2005 An Alternative Sustainable Development Model
As promised to Jennifer yesterday:
Not that this is perfect--or even attractive--but it does demonstrate how to "fix" that one problem in the existing model. Everything we do--everything--takes place within and depends on the 'natural environment.' Every one of our economic transactions is at heart a social process. And of course, every economic transaction depends utterly on the environment in every way at every stage. There is no separation.
