June 9, 2006 Apparently I'm hosting a slumber party
Welcome! And thanks to the lovely person who had such nice things to say about Beanie Baby, over at bloggingbaby.com. This has definitely been a week of steep highs and deep lows. (Obviously, this is one of the highs.) Anyway. Guests old and new are welcome to snack on a bowl of popcorn, a variety of diet pops (sorry, I'm diabetic so I don't stock the sugary kind), and chocolate left over from the Monday Blog Boast (chocolate is an exception). Thanks for stopping by! Posted by Andrea at June 9, 2006 9:03 PM under Web EMAIL this entry (comments fields are below this section) Comments I'll take a diet coke please! And some chocolate. With a bolus. Posted by: Megan at June 10, 2006 12:05 AM
Yippee!! I haven't been to a slumber party in years! (Would anyone mind if I used the opportunity to actually get some sleep?) Pass the chocolate ... Posted by: Miche at June 10, 2006 8:47 AM
Miche, be my guest. Posted by: Andrea at June 10, 2006 1:00 PM
Andrea, glad to see you might be getting some new readers out of it. By the way, Scarbiedoll was the one who recommended you to me. If you have recommendations for future highlights, shoot me an email. I love highlighting blogs that need to be read by the masses and aren't yet (ie: dooce, amalah) (your daughter is totally gorgeous) Posted by: Kristin at June 10, 2006 4:19 PM

Change is God (Octavia Butler, Parable Series) "In this world, there is nothing softer or thinner than water. But to compel the hard and unyielding, it has no equal. That the weak overcomes the strong, that the hard gives way to the gentle -- this everyone knows. Yet no one acts accordingly."
