July 19, 2007 Thirty Days: See Andrea. See Andrea Run. See Andrea Fall Flat on Her Face.
That's, like, less than a month. And I thought it would never get here. So, thirty days. And way more than thirty things left to do: 1. Address changes for license and health card. Yeah. Nooooo problem. ~~~~~ * Technically both of these wrap up after thirty days from now, but the bulk of the work of them will be completed before then. Posted by Andrea at July 19, 2007 6:32 AM under Decision 2007 EMAIL this entry (comments fields are below this section) Comments You work for the government, so you've probably thought of this, but is this the kind of situation (separation) of which you need to advise Revenue Canada? (They got all huffy at me when I didn't let them know that I'd gotten married.) Good luck! You will be ok. Of this I am sure. Posted by: parodie at July 19, 2007 7:47 AM
Ok, I've just decided I don't like Erik. I try very hard not to judge people I've never met, but dude -- he's keeping the camera? Posted by: Emily at July 19, 2007 8:24 AM
I'm keeping the video camera. The stuff all works out in the wash, mostly. paraodie, make that number 35. Posted by: Andrea at July 19, 2007 8:36 AM
ah, sister. soon it'll be all sorted, this exhausting, brave journey of yours. Posted by: jen at July 19, 2007 9:18 AM
Good luck, Andrea. Posted by: Chris (mombie) at July 19, 2007 11:38 AM
Yes, it *is* a lot to accomplish, but look at it this way: every thing you mark off the list gets you that much closer to your new life. Each errand is a step closer for you and Frances to be free. Maybe that perspective might make it all seem less overwhelming. Posted by: KLee at July 19, 2007 12:21 PM
Seriously - no card/present required!!! Just your presence will be more than enough and even then if you can't make it I would totally understand. It's a crazy time for you - don't waste a moment thinking about me. Posted by: Kim at July 19, 2007 12:21 PM
I get tired just reading it. One foot in front of the other. Posted by: yankee, transferred at July 19, 2007 4:49 PM
Can any of it be done online so that you don't have to run around insanely? Big hugs and many supportive thoughts. Posted by: liz at July 19, 2007 4:57 PM
That is some list Andrea! I'm counting down the days with you and wish I was close enough to take a few tasks off your hands. Re: the bike tires. You may only need new tubes - a visit to any bike repair place to find out may save you a few dollars. Posted by: Sue at July 19, 2007 9:20 PM
I can help with #26! I'm good at putting things together! But in all honestly, let me know if there's anything I can do to help out! Posted by: Wendy at July 19, 2007 11:16 PM
Liz--yes, and as much as I can, I will. My problem is (*clears throat*) I have a hard time being productive online. Don't know why that might be. Sue, I tried that. There's somethign with the tires themselves, the tubes never last. They go flat in a few weeks. Wendy, if you want to help with #26, be my guest. I'll take whatever help I can get. One day/activity at a time right ;) Before you know it you will be done and settled. Posted by: Dawn at July 24, 2007 8:21 AM
