July 26, 2007 Twenty-Two Days: Progress?
With 22 days to go (breathe, Andrea, breathe) here's how the to-do list looks: 1. Address changes for license and health card. So in a week, I've done five and a half things out of thirty-five. I'm in great shape. I can't believe you have to pay $65 to have your mail forwarded. That is indeed highway robbery! You really have accomplished a lot. The next 22 days should go by quickly. Posted by: ccw at July 26, 2007 10:01 AM
You must be glad to see the list slowly but surely getting scratched off Posted by: Dawn at July 26, 2007 10:47 AM
I know it seems like you haven't gotten a lot finished yet, but it actually isn't that way -- look at the painting -- that was a LOT of work! It will all come together. I'm praying that the next 22 days go by quickly for you, and that you and Frances fly free when those 22 days come to a close. Posted by: KLee at July 26, 2007 12:16 PM
They CHARGE you to change your address and have your mail forwarded? Good grief. Hiring movers is the best, even if it does cost you more than you wanted to pay. Let someone else do the shifting - it's not like you don't have anything else to do. Good luck with the rest of the stuff. It's a bit overwhelming, but it must feel good as you cross things off your list. Posted by: julia at July 26, 2007 1:40 PM
I think I get less junk mail because I didn't have my mail forwarded. Why do you have to pay? Does your bicycle have a Franceseat? Do you have to do everything by move-in day? You can cover the windows w/ empty boxes until you find curtains. Posted by: ~Macarena~ at July 26, 2007 6:50 PM
