Hey! I actually wrote a novel this month. OK, it's not a very good novel. But it's done. I'll need to redo it maybe four or five times before I can actually think of it as a novel without using mental air-quotes around the word, and even then, you know, publishing: not going to happen. Still. I did it. (You know you're a mother when you can't use that phrase without immediately picturing Dora and Boots wagging their butts on TV and singing "We did it! We did it! We did it! Yay!") Now, I will sleep. Posted by Andrea at November 25, 2007 11:14 PM under Wordsmithery EMAIL this entry (comments fields are below this section) Comments YAYAYAYAYAYA!!!!!!!!!!!! Eh, all it took was babysitting to embed Dora permenantly in the section of my mind that processes the phrase, "Did it." Congrats! Posted by: Christine at November 26, 2007 1:55 AM
Oh that's great! And you did with 4 days to spare too! Now that's cool! I was going to comment on Friday but the comments thingy was broken.... here goes...Frances was enjoying the parade her way by taking it all in. If she had been prancing around like other kids she might have missed something! Now she can re-enact the whole parade! Posted by: LauraJ at November 26, 2007 7:16 AM
